Join us for a 3 week parent participation program

Learn how to make the darkest and coldest part of the year special from a well seasoned parent of three children.

Together we will discuss how to dress, where to shop and ways to save money.

Mondays – Dec 4, 11, 18
Wednesdays – Dec 6, 13, 20
Program Time: 9:30-11:30am
Program Cost: $75 one day or $150 both days*
*$25/class

Cost is per family.
Parents must attend with their children.

Assumption of Risk*

Although we do everything we can to prevent injury, learning outdoors carries with it a certain level of risk. This is an outdoor program and nature is seldom predictable. At Sprouting Knowledge we encourage the children to take supported risks. In this way, they learn how to manage risk in a responsible manner.

The Parent/Guardian acknowledges and agrees that he or she is aware that there are many known and unknown dangers and risks associated with participation in the outdoor activity program including, but not limited to, the risk of minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, and scrapes, insect bites, insect stings, as well as the risk of serious injury or death.
The Parent/Guardian acknowledges and agrees that he or she understands the aforesaid dangers and risks associated with the outdoor activity program and notwithstanding such dangers and risks agrees to provide his or her permission for their child to participate in the outdoor activity program.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF CLAIMS

The Parent/Guardian releases, waives, and fully discharges Krystal Jeffrey and the Employees and Contractors of Sprouting Knowledge from any and all claims, demands, obligations and liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever arising from or connected, directly or indirectly, with the Student’s participation in the outdoor activity program due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, and breach of any statutory duty of other duty, and the Parent/Guardian accepts that this release covers and includes, but is not limited to, all unknown and unforeseen claims, injuries, damages and losses, and any consequences thereof.

INDEMNITY

The Parent/Guardian will indemnify and hold harmless Sprouting Knowledge aka Krystal Jeffrey from any damage, loss, liability, legal costs and other expenses that Sprouting Knowledge may suffer or incur by reason of any claims against Sprouting Knowledge arising from or connected, directly or indirectly, with the child’s participation in the outdoor activity program, including any claim based on negligence, breach of contract, and breach of statutory duty or other duty.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT THOROUGHLY AND UNDERSTAND THE TERMS OF THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT. I UNDERSTAND THAT, BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT, I GIVE UP IMPORTANT LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE RIGHT TO SUE. I UNDERSTAND THAT SPROUTING KNOWLEDGE IS RELYING UPON MY FULL RELEASE AND WAIVER OF ALL CLAIMS WHEN ALLOWING MY CHILD TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY PROGRAM.

Photography Release*

At Sprouting Knowledge we take photos of children so that we can make learning visible to parents, children and the public. We will never name a child in a photo and will not post specific location information beyond what is publicly available due to the location of a program or event. Facilitators do their best to take non-identifying photos of the children in our program. If we would like to use a photo in a public item that is only of your child and clearly shows their face we will make attempts to contact you before using it. The photos we take are used in the following ways: To reflect on our teaching. To teach new facilitators. To use on our website. To make learning stories for the children in our programs. To use on social media platforms such as Instagram & our Facebook Page. And for the creation of promotional materials such as posters, brochures and business cards. If you object to the usage of your child’s image in any photo you see please let us know and we will remove it.

An invoice will be generated and emailed to you once you submit this form. This invoice must be paid in full before your registration will be confirmed.
This program is $75 for 3 sessions or $150 for all 6.
